SRC worked with the Government Marketing Division Circuit Switched Network Operating System (CSNOS) to manage database and provide migration to next generation platform with Ingres 10.x. CSNOS is one of AT&T’s operations system used to administer the federal telecommunications system 2000 (FTS2000) Network. CSNOS allows personnel in the FTS2000 network control center and FTS2000 network security center to analyze the data needed to service and maintain the switched voice and switched data services. The system is developed in C and Embedded SQL C for interfacing with Ingres database.

These beverage giants and their distributors wanted to provide better service and reduce the cost of vending operations. SRC consultants were involved in development of a turnkey solution for the vending management system designed by SkyWire. The system provided remote monitoring of the status of the vending machines and a centralized application to schedule optimum routes and delivery of products as needed.

LOGISTICS PROJECTS SRC participated in a number of projects for a large logistics company while partnering with such vendors as COMFORCE, SCB Computer Technology, Volt Management Corp, and Nextech Solutions. These projects included an Internet based package tracking server and an Internet based sales force information system. Both of these systems were developed using JAVA, EJB and C++ with Sun Platform and Weblogic. On another occasion, this company needed improvements in scheduling and routing of pick-up trucks. A system was developed for SkyWire to monitor the status of drop boxes in real time with wireless communication. Custom software was created to collect and analyze real time data and interface to the backend system. SRC's consultants are also involved in ongoing mainframe projects with the company.
